COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY IS PROUD TO AWARD COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND ORGANIZATIONS FOR THEIR COMMITMENT TO IMPROVING OUR COMMUNITY.

Bridge Builder Award Recipients

The Bridge Builder award recognizes individuals or organizations who have partnered with CAA over the past year to fulfill our mission. Motivated by compassion for others, Bridge Builders are committed to improving their communities. They possess the creativity necessary to develop solutions, the resources to make a difference, and the dedication to complete the undertaking.

  • KLH Engineers believes in an integrated approach that seeks to break down industry silos and create a more collaborative and efficient way to work for all our partners. During this pandemic, CAA quickly realized the need to improve its ability to hold virtual meetings and break down barriers when meeting clients remotely. KLH Engineers opted to help CAA with this project through their Keep Lending a Hand program, allowing CAA to increase its technological capabilities and continue to be a community leader.

  • Lisa Williamson has served CAA Head Start’s program with dedication and innovation. In her role, Lisa coordinated critical speech screenings for Head Start Children. These screenings helped identify children with potential delays and disabilities.

  • Rapid Re-Employment partners came together in 2020 to launch a wrap-around job readiness and career training program. Talbert House, Cincinnati Works, Easterseals, Hamilton County, Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio, and Community Action Agency united in providing an easy entry for individuals to re-enter the workforce and have assisted over 400 people.

Thank you to our 57th Annual Luncheon Sponsors! Your support helps us build this bridge for our community.
