April 23, 2024 - Congressman Landsman Receives National Head Start PROMISE Award
CINCINNATI, OH (April 23, 2024) – Congressman Greg Landsman will visit the Theodore Berry Head Start, 880 West Court Street 45203, on Thursday, April 25 at 10 a.m. to be presented with the National Head Start Association’s PROMISE Award. This award is presented once a year to members of Congress who are true champions of Head Start. PROMISE stands for Protecting Our Most Important Students Early. “Congressman Landsman has always been committed to serving our most vulnerable children and their families,” said Renee Daniel, vice president of early childhood education for Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency’s Head Start program. “He has shown true compassion to our program not only in this district but now across the nation and we are so fortunate to have the opportunity to present him with this award.” While at Theodore Berry Head Start, Congressman Landsman will also cut the ribbon to the newly developed playground at the early learning facility. This playground provides children with opportunities to engage in play in an environment that connects them with nature.
